The team was pivotal in launching the “Feed”, which has transformed the Grab app home screen. Having started as a small experiment that was only accessible via the sidebar, the Feed is now the core of the Grab app and has become integral to Grab’s “Everyday Super App” strategy.

Get to know the role:
Identify new business or product strategies to drive growth, and validate these strategies through rapid experimentation
Develop detailed go-to-market strategies to launch new experimental products/businesses
Lead the regional growth team to operationalize cross-functional experimentation efforts
Distill feedback and market intelligence to shape roadmap for product experimentation
Conduct competitive analysis for new businesses or products
Drive analysis of experiments conducted
The day-to-day activities:
Drive projects to deliver impact with limited resources under tight timelines, while influencing cross-departmental stakeholders
Solve problems creatively and execute impeccably
Work with Product Managers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Developers to scope, build, test new initiatives.
Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and launch cross functional initiatives.
Travel across Grab’s markets execute experiments.
The must haves:
You have a Bachelor’s degree or Masters in a technical subject (preferably Engineering, Economics, etc.), with 8-10 years of working experience
You are able to disambiguate chaos and framework complex situations to drive clarity and alignment
You are a compelling storyteller who is adept at communicating concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical folks alike
You are analytical, and have instincts to drive focus on the needle movers.
You have launched a company, an interest group or a volunteering group from scratch
You embrace ambiguity, constant change and uncertainty
You are a team player
Aware of the unique challenges of the South East Asian technology landscape.
Good to have:
You have working experience in a fast-paced business environment, preferably a start-up or another tech company
You are fluent in SQL, or any other technical language
