As a Team Lead Software Engineering in LELTECH Team, you'll be part of an extremely motivated and experienced group of people. You'll help drive Lazada eLogistics platform and be a key contributor to business success. You'll work on stability, scalability and growth of our network operations, driving provision of operations and logistics solutions for more than 100.000.000 users in region, you will help our customers to get more than 9.5 million orders a month. Responsibilities:• Design, develop and maintain our core financial system.• Work with development manager and other application architects to build new core application features in an Agile scrum environment.• Proactively document and train feature development team on the tools developed.• Proactively identify opportunities to improve application architecture and processes.• Directly manage team of 2 senior developers.• Manage application technical roadmap.• Monitor application performance and stability.
Requirements:• Expert level knowledge of PHP5/PHP7 and the according experience.• Knowledge of Architecture and Design Patterns (SOLID, GRASP).• Good knowledge of a relational database management system (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL) and understanding on how to optimise SQL queries for high load: explain, denormalisation.• A strong sense for code quality and experience with unit and functional tests: PHPUnit, Codeception, TDD.• Experience with any queue, job or message systems: RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Gearman.• Knowledge of modern PHP frameworks: Laravel, Lumen, Symfony2.• A positive attitude, be proactive and a team player.• Intermediate to advanced verbal English skills.Any of these would be a big plus during interview: • Experience with Kubernetes would be a plus.• Experience with CI tools and their setup.• Experience with RabbitMQ or other queueing system is a plus.• Experience in DevOps enabled environments.• Experience developing highly complex and highly performing systems.• Experience working in a fast paced e-commerce/internet organisation and dynamic environment.• Self-motivated, approachable, and adaptable and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal English is a must).
